Oh.tried flattening and then pushing the thickness, but then it converts to one big flat and loses all the bend information and ability to put back into bent version.
Using direct edit and pushing the surfaces works, but it is very cumbersome and I was hoping there is a trick to getting the whole part to change thickness, as some are fairly complex sheet metal parts and it's time consuming (and error prone) to edit each surface and bend. Is this just the way it is with converted/imported geometry? While it lets me edit the thickness entry, it does not change the model and remains at the same, original thickness. What I want to do is change the thickness of the sheet metal, but using the sheet metal parameters entry to change the thickness does not produce any changes. I have imported parts, which successfully convert to sheet metal and unfold properly, so they are good sheet metal parts. Searched the forums for this but all I see is unfolding problems or converting to sheet metal issues.
